A Bend in the Road

So, there is this.

And then there is this.

And somehow, our agency, knowing our hesitations, said,
"Would you look at this little one?"

And he was so little. In fact, he is only 5 months older than our granddaughter.

And we're pretty old. Oldish.

But there is this...

And it wouldn't leave. We tried to make it leave.

But something felt different.

Something felt right.

We felt peace.

So this summer, we will go back to China.

Because we can.
He needs a family.
And we are a family.

Meet our little guy, Will.

He'll be two years old in June.

And we can't wait.

I keep learning that often, Heavenly Father's will is a little different than ours. 

And often, the bend in the road is not the end of the road, unless you refuse to take the turn.

So, we're turning.

And we are sooooo happy about it!
