What I've Been Doing

Hello, blog friends and followers. I know I've been a little neglectful lately, but things have been busy for me here at home and over at my author's blog!
The puppy training is going very well! Sure, we've had our accidents, our misreads, our poor timing, but all in all, Brodie is the greatest little puppy ever and seems to love us VERY MUCH. He loves training so much I have a hard time getting him to eat out of his bowl because he wants to practice tricks for his food. He is still nipping at the kids' hands, but we're working on that. Peanut butter on the knuckles is irresistible to lick and lick and lick. He loves to go outside, loved the snow while we had it, and rings his bell at the back door to let us know.
This is his bath. He tolerates this out of pure love for me. Not unlike my youngest child.

This is after his bath. See the curls? I think Braeden should show up at a dance with Brodie. Can you say, "Chick Magnet"?

All dry. Poofy.

Sit. Good puppy!

See this tongue? This tongue is the reason I have to wear long pants and socks. Licky licky licky my leggies.

He weighed 8 lbs at the vet and they said he was the best puppy they've had in months. I bet they say that to all the puppies. NOT.

In other, non-puppy related news, the kids are great, the teens are... teens, and my B is the greatest, and busy. I'm busy, too. I am being called at this very moment to rescue someone from a bath. SO, until next time, go check out how things are going with the writing and have a beautiful week!
"COMING!"

Oh, he is sooo cute! You might make me a dog person one day with these cute pictures and telling me that puppies can be good. I'm glad you are enjoying him.

What a sweet face! Love the curls right after the bath. You and Shelli found such great puppies. We can't wait to meet the new grand-dog.
