The tub and shower surround after the first day.The flooring is down!Cabinetry installed.Fixtures are in.
Earlier, I promised pictures of the progress of our basement project. Things have gone very well, really, and we are getting the carpet and lighting in on Tuesday, the 1st. I don't have any big "snaffu" stories, except that they laid the wrong floor down in the bathroom, but I came to look just as he was finishing, and he was able to get it up and get the right one down before the glue set. I would have lots of stories to tell if we were doing this ourselves, but we're just handling the paint, and that is done, so, whew!

Wow! Everything looks so great and you are going to have so much fun with it. I love the feel and smell of new. Looks great!! I love the arches too, that's a nice touch. We have a partial basement we would like to finish soon, so I'll have to get some advice from you when that time comes.
Thanks, Jess. We have a couple arches upstairs, so we continued that down, too. We are so excited!
Thanks you! It's so pretty. What was the name of the paint color, hon? That was just amazing to see it evolve like that. Total time it took? Can't wait to see it when we next visit. Where's our room?? Just kidding, Brandon! Hee Hee.

Sorry about the double post...embarrassing to see "Thank you" spelled wrong..twice! What was the color of Chelsea's room? It looks like such a good shade of blue or blue green? We want to paint our bedroom soon.
It was called Waterfall (Chelsea's) and is a Walmart color, though we took it to the paint store and had it matched. Her room is done and it is beautiful. Your room is the office/guest room, silly. The browns were also Walmart colors, Darby Creek and Cafe au'Lait.
