I'm bound and determined, though, that somehow I'll find a connection. I think "Men of Harlech" & "All Through the Night" are my favorite Welsh folk songs. I was happy to tell her that I did know, and that my husband's ancestry was Welsh. It was fun to hear Martha Anglesey speak that unusual ancient language for us.Gramma Spicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10819911391710096130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29305443.post-28264019524108863402008-02-20T20:41:00.000-07:002008-02-20T20:41:00.000-07:00I would have to agree Sweet Afton how perfectI would have to agree Sweet Afton how perfectwyomingericahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03517138946911420094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29305443.post-15606092238131665142008-02-20T13:19:00.000-07:002008-02-20T13:19:00.000-07:00I have often had the same thoughts. I think it is neat that our 2nd cousin stopped there on her way back from her mission, and was taken in by Angleseys on the island because her name was Anglesey. It was cool to hear the language, what interesting sounds! I'm glad I now know how to say..."Mae fy hofrenfad yn llawn o lyswennod" or "My hovercraft is full of eels".<BR/>ps- Love the song Sweet Afton - perfect.Shellihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01615739957127904572noreply@blogger.com
